My name is Sarah, and I created No Perfections. It all started during lockdown—like many of you, I was stuck at home and didn’t know what to do with myself. I wanted to use my creativity. I have always enjoyed having accessories that nobody else had and making the little details that enhance or change an outfit; I guess that was also passed down from my mom.

I had so many jewelry designs I wanted to buy but couldn’t find anywhere, so I thought I should make them myself—especially since I really can’t draw! So, I studied and learned techniques, bought many pliers, jump rings, chains, clasps, etc., and made around 50 pieces. I started wearing them at my job at the time and soon realized that people liked them, often asking where they were from. But I had no idea how to actually sell them.

Life went on, and the idea of selling my jewelry felt unreal and scary. After a few years of doubting myself, I finally decided to take a leap of faith and do what I truly enjoy—being creative.
